[Lurk mode: OFF] For the record, I don't like the position-based joystick turret control, either. This SORELY disappointed me with MW2, which is, despite this totally (for me) unworkable feature, is the most incredible game/sim I've ever seen. I commend everyone at Activision for MW2. I was also hoping mightily that Mercs would have changed this. Of all the things concerning Mercs that have been complained about, this is the only one which has stopped me dead in my tracks from buying it. The other 'problems' I can live with. Yeah, mouse control works but for reasons which escape words at the moment it seems like I'm settling for less when I use it. I've even considered writing my own patch, but no doubt the code has been obfuscated enough to make such an attempt a complete nightmare given my elementary system level programming skills. Oh, well... Stu [Lurk mode: ON]
