Definately. Tim, with all my complaining about the (damned!) autocentering I
don't want you to think that I think the game is terrible. Let me reiterate:
The game is AWESOME. It has great attention to detail, the music is
phenomenal, the cut scenes make me believe that a BattleTech movie might
actually work! And we all appreciate your _hard_ work on this -not to mention
your efforts on the usenet. I just find it frustrating to have such a great
game that I cannot play (or at least enjoy because of lousy controls) The game
is THIS close to being perfect but unfortunately a very important (and very
basic) part was (seemingly) overlooked: giving the player the option of
turning off auto-centering -or leaving it off altogether. I can't stress it
enough, I have tried and tried and _tried_ (boy have I tried) to play with
my FLCS and it is (without any exaggeration) _impossible_ to aim with! PLEASE
try it yourself and you'll really understand what we mean -use the joystick
to control torso & pedals to control the mechs legs, you _cannot_ hit anything
(unless you're firing locked missiles) with this auto-center "feature"...
arrgghh....

But alas that was not the point of this post. Tim, thanks for the hard work,
if you can "fix" this problem with a patch or a later release, we will all
appreciate it. I will buy it again just so I can play with a joystick (the
game is worth it.) So I (and others) can really start to enjoy this game
you've worked so hard on. And we know you have _really_ worked hard, so
rest up, you've deserved it...

..and once you're rested you can start working on this darned 'auto-center'
fix! ;)
