So true! >Now all I need is a thrustmaster, rudder pedals I have the full ThrustMaster setup FCS/WCSm2/RCS, and it is great for this game. I switched the pedals to control mech turning so I could use the joystick totally for aiming. One of the most awesome features of this game is the amazingly flexible control configurations. I end up using a combo of joystick and mouse for aiming. The joystick is tough for fine aiming control because the turret will snap back to center when the joystick does. You have to hold the joystick left or right to keep the turret turned. Does anybody know if there is a way to turn off turret auto-recentering w/ a joystick/rudder pedals? >BTW, In case my pre-post never made it, if the game drops back to DOS after >about 8 seconds and you lose about 16k of RAM. Its probably your mouse (it was >mine). I was loading it high, removed the LH command at it worked fine. I had the very same thing happen, but it crashed right after I had won my first mission on the first try! God, I was pissed, but that just means I had to replay the mission, and I got a lot better at it second time around. >Tip : When facing multiple foes (always), duck behind a hill or mountain and >target the lead guy with your missiles. Keep it up until destroyed >then use the same tactic on the other while circling around to finish of the >disabled-one from behind (they cant fire when they dont face ya). I do this while walking backwards/retreating. They come like flies to the spider (or the wolf in my case). Awesome game! The 640x480 graphics are fine, but the 1024x768 get choppy under fire even on my P-90 w/ ATI Mach64 PCI... Catch you later, scrubb! (The instructor is hilarious) Barry bhh@nando.net
