Yes, there are other missions that allow you to get other 'Mechs. I got a MadCat in a FRR mission on the perifery (I think...it might have been a Fed Com mission) just after that mess on Solaris VII (I thought it was a free-for-all, not a murder-the-player). I didn't, however run into a dasher or a kodiak (yet). It wasn't one with high expectations of salvage (Comstar said salvage rights were poor), so it was easy to miss... -- Jack Vidulich jev7533@cs.rit.edu
